2024-25 President - Jill Crist

I have two children in district 96.  An 8th grader at Hauser and a 5th grader at Blythe Park.  My husband and I are both Illinois transplants and have lived in Riverside for almost 15 years!  This is my third year on the board at Hauser.  In previous years, I worked with another Hauser parent to bring in a Social Theatre Program. This program will continue for it's 3rd year and is for the 6th grade class and teaches social skills through improve comedy.  This year I am on the Food Drive committee and am excited to bring volunteer opportunities to both students and parents at Hauser.  I continue to volunteer at Blythe Park and chair the yearbook and annual tie dye event.  I also co-lead the 5th grade Girl Scout Troop at Blythe.

First VP - Communications

The VP of Communications is responsible for producing a weekly newsletter and/or distributing email communications to the general parent and teacher population. They oversee social media accounts and the hauserpto.org website content including the student directory. The person in this board position also monitors email communications and inquiries received from parents or other interested parties.

2024-25 VP of Communications - Beth Brouwer

I have 2 children that are students in District 96.  My family and I have been Riverside residents for 13 years.  I previously served as a VP on the Central PTO board, and I continue to work as a PTO volunteer at Central as Spirit Wear and Teacher Appreciation Luncheon chair.  I also volunteer in the community as a Cub Scout Den leader for 5th grade girls.  I am happy to be a part of the Hauser PTO board again this year.  I learned a lot about Hauser as a board member in the last two years, and I believe the PTO plays an important role in enriching the school experience for our students.

Second VP - Volunteers

This position involves recruiting parents to volunteer at Hauser events.  This is typically done via the Hauser PTO emails but may require actively reaching out to parents when volunteer commitment is low.  Learning and using the Membership Toolkit software is required as all Signups are created through this program.

2024-25 VP of Volunteers - Ashley Prosser

I have 2 children enrolled in D96 - a 6th grader at Hauser and a 4th grader at Central.  We have lived in Riverside for 11 years and during that time, I have been enjoyed being involved in activities that have given me a chance to connect to our community.  I am excited to be part of the Hauser PTO this year.

Third VP - Fundraising

The VP of Fundraising is responsible for producing an annual plan to meet the PTO's budgeted fundraising goals.  They shall oversee any scheduled fundraiser and closely communicate with each fundraising chair. The person in this board position also works closely with the treasurer to ensure all funds raised are accounted for in the general ledger.

2024-25 VP of Fundraising - Gina Cipriani

I am a mother of three daughters.  My youngest daughter Nora is a 7th grader this year.  We have been residents of Riverside for 10 years.  As the VP of Fundraising my goal is to share my ideas and work with the community to raise funds that benefits the students of Hauser and their families.  I look forward to working with the PTO and getting to know the families.

We moved to Riverside from Phoenix,  AZ last summer.  My son attends Hauser and my daughter attends Blythe Park.  We are so happy to be part of this amazing community of families at D96!

The Treasurer plays a crucial role in managing the financial aspects of our organization, ensuring accurate record-keeping, and maintaining transparency in all monetary transactions. This position requires a commitment of 2-3 hours per month, with increased activity during budget establishment at the beginning of the year and year-end preparations for reimbursements and audits.

 2024-25 Treasurer - Kris Tokarz

I have lived in Riverside for 10 years and have two children in the district.  My son is in 8th grade and my daughter is a 5th grader at Ames.  This is my third year as Treasurer for Hauser.  I enjoy working with the classrooms and our community.  I have led a girl scout troop at Ames for the past 5 years and volunteered for Riverside Parks & Rec as a parent soccer coach.  I am excited for my third year as PTO Treasurer.

Parliamentarian

The Parliamentarian will provide parliamentary advice to the board and PTO as requested, by referencing the most current copy of the organization's bylaws, which they will be responsible for maintaining and making changes to as described in the PTO Standing Rules.
